Fall  2022 Ovitrapping Schedule

• Week of August 22(calendar week 34)

  • Finalize your question, hypothesis, & treatments

    • 6 cups x 6 weeks (3 cups per treatment)  

  • Dechlorinate your water & then add liver powder for study wk1

• Week of August 29 (calendar week 35)

  • Set your traps at locations that answer the question should answer your question 

  • Label cup with trap id, label egg paper with trap id & calendar wk 35

  • Use Survey123 to georeference your trap locations

  • Dechlorinate your water & then add liver powder for study wk 2

• Week of September 5 (calendar week 36) 

  • Collect wk35 egg paper & store in provided bag (label bag) 

  • Use GoogleForms to report trap & site conditions 

  • Replace infusion water & label egg paper with trap id & calendar wk 36

  • Dechlorinate your water & then add liver powder for study wk 3

• Week of September 12 (calendar week 37) 

  • Collect wk36 egg paper & store in provided bag (label bag)

  • Use GoogleForms to report trap & site conditions
